We went to India from January 9 to 23, 2006.   What we planed in journey this time was mainly to visit the Holy Lands where Buddha Śākyamuni was correlated with in all his life. By the way I wish expose the experience in person about the development of ancient Buddhism history.

The Holy Lands about Buddha Śākyamuni are Lumbinī, Bodhgayā, Sārnāth, Kuśinagar, Śrāvastī, Vaiśālī and Sankisa, these places and Buddha's relations are as follows:
Lumbinī: the birthplace of Buddha Śākyamuni.
Bodhgayā: Buddha Śākyamuni completed his practicing work here.
Sārnāth: also known as Mŗgadāva, the place of Buddha Śākyamuni’s first statement.
Kuśinagar: Buddha Śākyamuni’s life ended here (nirvāņa).
Śrāvastī: Buddha Śākyamuni lived here up to 25 years from beginning to end, so there were the most legends and stories.
Vaiśālī: Buddha Śākyamuni visited Gīha-pati Vimalakīrti here, and was the place of Sūtra Vimalakīrti recorded.
Sankisa: also known as Sāmkāśya, it was said that Buddha Śākyamuni climbed to the Sky Palace from here to make statement for his mother who had already passed away.

About the story of above Holy Land and present situation, I will do more detailed introduction in future. I pray for every blessing me here, and cause my most sincere gratitude.
